I don’t know about you but there is something about the word ‘sale’ that speaks to me. I hear ‘sale’ and it translates to ‘so cheap its basically free, so you might as well buy anything and not feel even slightly guilty about it. Not even one bit. Well maybe a little bit, but you’ll have some fabulous goodies.’ So Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Boxing Day sales etc are a dream with mostly completely one off bargains with a hefty price reduction. The good thing about sale days like Black Friday is that you can have an idea of exactly what you want before the day comes and you don’t have to rummage through rails and rails of discounted shiz and you can just get straight to the point. So huge one off discounts on something you’ve been eyeing up for ages is a win win situation. As opposed to Boxing Day, Black Friday is actually before Christmas so you are able to buy christmas presents before the totally skint after christmas period. And a massive plus is that if you get a good chunk of it bought on black friday, all you need to worry about is popping your decorations up and chillin in the christmas spirit and you can rest easy for a whole month knowing you’ve got everything sorted. This year I am determined not to run around the Trafford centre an hour before closing time trying to get my last bits.
A few weeks back I was asked by Pretty Little Thing to create a wishlist of a few things that I would like to get in their Black Friday sale. They very kindly sent me some of these items so I will be posting them some looks with them on here very soon! (Btw THAT coat is too unreal for words!) The one thing I love about PLT is their ability to be very ‘out there’ with some crazy statement pieces yet at the same time keeping it so commercial. I wore the trouser suit pictured on a recent trip to Brussels with George and I can’t tell you how fabulous I felt. When I was walking along the lovely streets of the very beautiful Belgian city my trousers were flaring in the breeze and with every step and I felt ever so chic and fabulous at the same time. Very European I might say, especially with being in the capital of Europe. I also recently outed the Velvet Coat and I can’t tell you how bloody smug and warm it is (and also v fabulous).
PLT are set to have some amazing discounts so if there is anything you have your eye on make sure you get up early to have a browse because everything is sure to be snapped up fast. Don’t forget – Black Friday falls on Friday 24th November this year. It will be hard to miss it with it most definitely being plastered all over social media and shop windows but you’d be pretty gutted to miss it, Most sales start really early so be sure to set your alarm at 5am if there is something you don’t want to miss out on. Have you got a Black Friday wishlist or anything in particular you’ll be looking for? Let me know in the comments below!
Thanks for reading, good luck with your Black Friday shopping!
