Debenhams Winter Style Challange

Debenhams have launched a competition that gives you the chance to win a £500 voucher by styling two outfits from the products on their website. One outfit is a daytime look and the other is a party look. Each outfit has a budget of £250 and will be judged by fellow fashion bloggers Victoria and Natasha. I love doing style posts as it gives you a lot more freedom compared to regular style posts, because when you buy something new, sometimes you have to put it with something already in your wardrobe that might not necessarily look as good just because you can't afford to buy another new item! As I love doing these kind of posts, and it means I could be in with a chance of winning £500 I thought, why not!

|| Coat: £54.99 £49.99 || Bag: £49 £39 || Lipstick: £18

= £232.99

This daytime look is a simple one, I thought I would stick to black for the basis of this outfit so I could have a little more freedom with the rest of the outfit. I decided to pair it with this lovely coat from Quiz which I thought contrasted lovely with the black, if I would have paired the trousers with a lighter top, I feel that the coat wouldn't have stood out as much. The cute little chelsea boots and bag break up the two colours and complete the look. To finish, I thought this lovely plum lipstick would look amazing against the cool shade of the coat and it is the perfect winter shade too!

|| Necklace- £14 £5.60 || Rings- £10 £4 ||

= £221.60

For the party look, I decided the Yumi dress should be the centre of the outfit. As the accessories I have chosen are black, the blazers soft nude colour will soften the look and stop the dress from getting lost in too many dark colours. The black strappy sandals will elongate the legs and paired with the tassel bag will complete the look. I thought I would accessories with gold jewelry as I thought it looked lovely against the nude.
